Pro Surfer, Sophie McCulloch has joined the Athletes For Hope Australia family as an athlete ambassador
Sophie McCulloch is a World Surf League professional surfer and university undergraduate, inspired by the sporting worlds progression towards community involvement.
A World Surf League (WSL) professional surfer and a university undergraduate; studying a Bachelor in Marketing and Biomedical Science. Sophie is currently working towards her competitive ambitions, including qualification for the WSL World Circuit Tour and 2024 Olympic Games.
Sophie’s drive goes beyond competitive success, with a deeper intent to be an athletic role model and contribute as a team player within community organisations.
Inspired by the sporting worlds progression towards community involvement, Sophie is honoured to be an Athletes for Hope ambassador.
"Sophie embodies all the traits of young sporting people ripe for the Athletes For Hope Australia program. She is pursuing her sporting dreams while continuing to support local community causes that make a difference," says Laura Johnston.
